Dr Julia Hurry

Julia Hurry is a Paediatric Dental Registrar currently completing her Barts Charity funded PhD.

She is particularly interested in reducing oral health inequalities in children, as well as improving the dental journey experience for anxious children and those with complex dental needs.

Julia graduated from dentistry from King’s College London in 2019. During her undergraduate training, she enjoyed taking on the role of Treasurer and Sponsorship Coordinator for the KCL Dental Society and was awarded the Guy’s Centenary Award for her clinical and research work whilst on elective.

Julia gained her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2021. She also enjoys working with Colgate as part of their Bright Smiles, Bright Future campaign which helps more children achieve a health and happy smile.
