Dr Etienne Deysel

Etienne qualified from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 1989.

He has focused on conscious sedation since 1991 in numerous clinics in South Africa. He moved to the UK in 2001 and has been providing conscious sedation ever since in private practice. In 2003, he attained his PDD.SED (postgraduate qualification in conscious sedation and pain control) from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Etienne joined the DNTL Smiles & Wellness team in 2017 to help with our nervous patients. He has been an instant hit with the team and patients due to his calming, jovial, and experienced nature. Etienne is called in to assist with our most phobic and nervous patients to help achieve good oral health.

He undertakes further training, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Immediate Life Support and Advanced Life Support.
